Chris Sperber for New York State Assembly
My name is Chris Sperber and I’m running for the New York State Assembly District 11 in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This includes East Massapequa, Lindenhurst, Copiague, Amityville, Wyandanch, Wheatley Heights, West Babylon, Farmingdale, and Deer Park.
People are tired of the increase in crime. Law and order is a requirement for a safe and thriving community. Yet somehow, certain members of government have allowed criminals to avoid consequences and effectively encouraged crime. This crime affects our neighbors and it affects our communities. I will work to change that immediately.
Government overreach continues to hurt people, families, and businesses in Long Island. Hard working individuals are still losing employment over mandates. Governor Hochul abused emergency powers to push her political agenda to the detriment of all citizens in the State of New York. Even now, she engages in a form of political patronage that results in her donors receiving large state contracts. A state legislature is supposed to function as a check to the overreach of a governor. I will act as legislatures should act, by limiting her power.
It’s time to make a serious decision. Your vote can make a difference! Send me to Albany so that I can work towards restoring common sense to our state government.
